The Maine Trust for People with Disabilities is Maine’s only pooled trust that gives families an easy and affordable way to set up a special needs trust for a disabled relative. Family members can contribute funds to the Trust that are used to provide a disabled relative with the “extras” not covered by SSI or Medicaid, such as special training, vacations, entertainment, etc.
